UNITAR STRUCT / INFORMATION
Privacy policy / GDPR
Updated 9 October 2026 ·
This notice describes data processing on the current website and distinguishes planned payment and licensing features. It will be updated before their commercial activation.
1. Controller and contact
UNITAR SOFT S.R.L., Romanian tax identification number (CUI): 54974076, Trade Register number: J2026040619004. Registered office: București Sectorul 3, Strada Dristorului, Nr. 98, CAMERA NR.2, Bl. 11, Scara B, Etaj 10, Ap. 85, România. The company operates unitar.net and is the controller for visitor data and its own correspondence. Personal data contact: office@unitarsoft.com, subject «Personal data / GDPR».
2. Website visits
Vercel infrastructure may process IP addresses, request times and URLs, browser/device information and technical errors to deliver pages, prevent abuse and diagnose issues. The basis is our legitimate interest in an available and secure website, respecting visitors' rights. The website has no user accounts, advertising tools or audience analytics.
3. Messages, support and the waiting list
When you email us, we process your email address, name and information you choose to send to answer and resolve the request. The basis is taking pre-contractual steps at your request or performing a contract, as applicable; for general enquiries, our legitimate interest in responding to correspondence. Providing data is optional, but we cannot contact you without a reply address. Do not send card details, license keys or unnecessary sensitive data. If you join the waiting list, we process your email address, the page language, the CAD software and operating system you choose to indicate, the country derived from your IP address (the country code only; the IP address is not kept and is used only as a fingerprint to limit abuse) and, if present, the source named in the link you followed, in order to tell you about the UNITAR STRUCT beta and launch. The basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by writing to office@unitarsoft.com; your address is then deleted from the list. The list is deleted no later than 12 months after launch.
4. Payments and licensing
At launch, Dodo Payments will operate hosted checkout. Necessary data may include name, email, country, billing address, tax information and order, subscription and license identifiers. UNITAR SOFT will use necessary data for delivery and support under the contract and, where applicable, legal obligations. Full card details are not entered on unitar.net. Sales are not open yet. When the license is activated and periodically validated, the installed software sends the unitar.net server: the license key (kept on the server only as a SHA-256 fingerprint), the operating system installation identifier, the computer name, the operating system, the CAD software in use, and the software version and channel. Like any web request, it arrives with an IP address, which is used only as a fingerprint to limit abuse. No drawings, project data or contents of your files are sent. The data is used for the license’s computer limit, abuse prevention and support, on the basis of the license agreement and our legitimate interest in protecting the software.
5. Providers and recipients
Providers used for the website and correspondence are Vercel (hosting and content delivery) and Namecheap Private Email (email). License activation records and the waiting list are kept in a database hosted by Neon. The installation kit and updates are downloaded from GitHub (Releases), which receives the download request directly. The video tutorials in the Documentation are hosted by YouTube (Google Ireland Limited); the request to YouTube leaves your browser only when you start a video. Access is limited to data needed for their services. When checkout is used, Dodo Payments also processes data for its own seller, tax and fraud-prevention obligations under its privacy policy. Data may be shared with authorities where legally required.
6. International processing
Provider services may involve processing outside the European Economic Area. Transfers require a GDPR-permitted mechanism, such as an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses and additional measures where needed. You can request information about applicable providers and safeguards using the contact address. The final Dodo flow configuration will be reflected here before launch.
7. Retention
Correspondence is retained as needed to resolve the request and related potential claims, then deleted if there is no basis for retention. Technical logs depend on the hosting service's retention and incident-investigation needs. Once sales are active, mandatory records will be retained for the period required by law. You can request details for the data category concerning you.
8. Your rights
Under the GDPR's conditions, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction and portability and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing. Some data must be retained for legal obligations or legal claims.
9. Making a request
Email office@unitarsoft.com describing the right you wish to exercise. We respond within the legal deadline, normally one month; any permitted extension and its reason will be communicated within the first month. If we have reasonable doubts about identity, we may request proportionate additional information. You can complain to Romania's ANSPDCP (dataprotection.ro) or the competent authority in your country.
10. Cookies and automated decisions
The language preference is in the page URL. The website does not implement marketing cookies, profiling or decisions with legal effects based solely on automated processing. The demonstration clips on the home page are hosted on the website; the video tutorials are YouTube videos that load only when you start them. See the Cookies policy for details; external checkout has its own notice.
